Specialised Programme: High Threat Environment Emergency Medical Care with FREC 3 or FREC 4 Certification
- This intensive programme combines advanced trauma care with tactical medical training, preparing graduates for frontline medical roles in the most demanding operational environments. Essential workplace first aid qualification meeting HSE legislative requirements. Covers primary survey, CPR, AED use, and management of common medical emergencies.
First Aid at Work (FAW) | 3 Days | Qualsafe Accredited
Comprehensive workplace first aid qualification for designated first aiders. Covers trauma management, medical emergencies, and casualty care in occupational settings.
First Aid for Outdoor Professionals | Qualsafe Accredited
Designed for those working in remote or outdoor environments where access to emergency services may be delayed. Covers wilderness trauma, environmental injuries, and improvised casualty care.
FREC 3 — First Response Emergency Care | 5 Days | Qualsafe Level 3 (RQF)
For security professionals, military personnel, and those operating in high-risk environments. Covers advanced trauma care, airway management, and emergency response under pressure.
FREC 4 — First Response Emergency Care | Qualsafe Level 4 (RQF)
Advanced qualification for team medics and those leading medical response in hostile or austere environments. Builds on FREC 3 with extended clinical skills and decision-making in resource-limited settings.
Tactical & Combat Medical Training
Emergency Combat Care (LRTECC) | 2 Days
MARCH protocol. Covers immediate life-saving interventions including haemorrhage control, airway management, and casualty assessment under fire.
Advanced Combat Care (LRTACC) | 3 Days
MARCH-P protocol. Extends combat care skills to include burns management, IV access, airway adjuncts, and advanced respiration assessment.
Remote Emergency Combat Care (LRTRECC) | 5 Days
MARCHPAWS protocol. Comprehensive programme covering BATLS, patient monitoring, casualty evacuation planning, and medical care in resource-limited and prolonged field conditions.
